6/13/2008 10:01:00 PMHaving said that - the fish tastes great. One neighbor, of Thai descent, has prepared the fish for me in several different ways, with different accompaining sauces. One time, they deep fried it, & it was fantastic. Other times, they made 'fish cakes' w/ cucumber sauce & rice - very good! Now, I don't know any of these receipes, but I can recommend filleting them, & pan frying the fillets with olive oil, butter & Johhny's seasoning salt. Another thing I'm going to look into getting is a smoker. I hear the cutts are great smoked, plus, once smoked, it's conveniant & you snack on it & anytime. Great w/ cheese! Also, most of the cutts I've caught, have had pink meat. A few have had pale white meat. Finally, I look forward to catching some nice perch this summer - they're really good eating fish - maybe the best in the lake. Also, look forward to some bass fishing in the fall. Not sure how the bass tastes, but I know they fight like hell. First fish I caught from Lk Wash, about 2 months ago, was a smallie.
bel83: I've been fishing from a boat - mostly between 520 & I-90, on the east side.
JC: Great seeing you & Brian today. I picked up only one more after I last saw you. Was pretty slow. My guess is - tomorrow will be good action. Best of luck!
Cheers!
