Got on the water around 6AM.Started trolling a kastmaster, got the first koke around 8AM.It was 10inches(I figured I was going to do better and let it go,..stupid me)The family and I fished ALL DAY,total kokanee caught...6. Largest was 15inches.We kept 2 and released the others. However,I MIGHT have hooked a brown,I was trolling around 20ft.down and hooked something that had serious fight. It eventually snapped the line and took my favorite lure,I was using 8lb.test fireline. I'm not claiming I had a monster but I know this lake very well and this has never happened before. Maybe this is the beginning of a legend...maybe,.haha. The weather was cloudy but dry and water temp.55degrees. A great day with the family.
Side note-Snow in the foothills around the western side of the lake......IN JUNE!!!! aaaggghhh
