AFTER GETTING BLOWN OFF OF LIBERTY MY STEP DAD AND I HIT NEWMAN ABOUT 12:30 AND FISHED THE RIGHT OF THE LAUNCH AND I CAUGHT A COUPLE LEGAL BASS ON DROP SHOT CAUGHT A COUPLE BLUEGILL AND PERCH AND WE HIT A DOCK AND I THREW A 4' TUBE AT IT AND HOOK MY FIRST TIGER MUSKIE ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW... TOO BAD MY 12 LB TEST COULD NOT WITHSTAND HIS TEETH MY STEP DAD AND I "GUESTIMATED" 48 INCHES THIS THING WAS HUGE!! I FELT THE END OF THE LINE AND IT WAS SHREDDED LIKE CRAZY.. WE WILL DEFINITALY START TRYING FOR MUSKIES NOW IT IS SUCH A RUSH TO SEE SOMETHING THAT BIG HIT RIGHT NEXT TO THE BOAT...
BUT ANYWAY WE FINISHED AT ABOUT 7:00 PM WITH 7 LEGAL BASS ONE LEGAL CRAPPIE AND TONS OF PERCH AND BLUEGILL

ALL FISH REALEASED UNHARMED........TIGHT LINES!

Tigers are amazing. If you need any tips or have any qustions, join us in the forum. Remember their is now a minimum 50inch rule. So as of now all tigers are catch and release.

Great report and good luck out there.

Try using a wire leader when you purposely fish for them. Also, one of the super lines like Power Pro works best. 50# is a good minimum to use for muskies.
