I went to Fish Lake for the first time and was excited to see all of the rental boats and a bait shop on hand. I went and talked to the owner and he told me the going rates for rentals. Its $5.00 per hour for a row boat, $10.00 per hour for a motor boat and $15.00 per hour for a pontoon. I told the guy I wanted to rent one and he said it was too windy to go out far so I would have to stay close to the docks. I decided to just fish off the docks instead, witch was $3.00 for a all day pass. The dock had plenty of room and seating area for me and three other friends witch was nice. We all tried different baits to see witch one worked the best. They were pink Powerbait, yellow Powerbait, Rainbow Powerbait and worms. Within ten minutes the yellow had a bite and we pulled in an eleven inch rainbow trout and that was it. We didn't catch anything else the rest of the day. A couple on the other end of the dock caught three while we were their and one of them was around sixteen inches. They were using yellow and rainbow Powerbait. Even though we didn't catch many fish I am eager to come back. The scenery was beautiful and the people were very friendly.
P.S. This is my first report, Please let me know if it is helpful to anyone and I will continue to make more. Thanks
