Fishing about 4:30 to 6:30PM on Silver Lake near Everett. In my float tube, I fished past numerous docks, and no strikes. Got to the south end of the lake and landed this 2.5 pound large mouth on my second cast into the pads. I used a 4" Yamamoto worm (Purple) with an offset hook rigged Texas style. I recommend tossing a ways back into the pads, and make lots of activity with your worm on the top of the pads. This fish struck twice, the first time missing, and then setting the hook on the second strike. Weather was slightly overcast, about 50° F.

You shouldn't take pictures of fish you are keeping. No one cares to congratulate you for keeping a LMB. In my opinion, its a game fish. Please stop keeping healthy bass like this. Its tough enough to get them to bite in Washington.

I didnt post a report so that people could congratulate me. If I wanted to do that, i would have posted it in the Bass forum. Plus, I dont keep many bass. I can eat one now and then, so dont give me a hard time. Thanks.

This why you cant post reports. Because you get hippies crying about keeping bass. Take it up with the regs not the anglers.
Snohobassguy way to go on the catch. Looks like a eater to me.

hey man nice catch! salmourex no one wants to hear it. ya, it is a game fish.... a deer is a game animal... should we stop hunting too? There is nothing wrong with enjoying some of the fish ya catch. If fishing for LMB is so difficult maybe you should take up knitting? just my thoughts

This issue has come up from time to time. WL.com supports an angler's right to keep a fish if it is legal to do so. Catch and Release is a personal decision and harrassing anglers for that decision is inappropriate. Nice fish SnohoBassGuy. Thanks for your report.

Thanks for posting this. I've caught a few rock bass there, but nothing that size. It's nice to see a few snohomish county lakes being reported on.
