Hit Black lake for the first time and really didn't know how to fish this lake nor where to launch the boat. We ended up launching from some private resort on the west side. Now I know where the boat launch is on the SE side of the lake it will be better. We trolled the perimeter of the lake and still fished near the WSDW boat launch . Had 5 bites trolling none on board and landed a 1.5 pound trout with powerbait fishing from bottom. This fish hit hard and played hard . A real nice treat to the slow day . We will be back here as the weather gets hotter for Cuttthroat .
