Got on the lake about 7:30AM. Best fishing was from about 9AM to 11:30AM. Weather was in mid 60s to low 70s. I primarily fished the north end since my motor wouldn't start and had to depend on the electric. Best results were right beside the tall white 5 mph buoys on the east side of the lake. Just kept cruising back and forth right next to them. I was fishing leaded line down about 3 to 3 1/2 colors plus a 15' mono leader. Had on a double flasher with a bright orange 2 -hook kokanee killer lure. Had a single corn and maggot on each hook. Don't think the maggot was really necessary. Not sure of my speed since the speed gauge on the fishfinder didn't seem to be working. However, I had the electric motor set at 4. Brought 12 silvers to the boat and lost 3 more. Size ranged from about 10" to 13". Was off the water by a bit after noon. Nice weather, friendly people, great day.
