Fishing: OK, 5 (1-4#)
Launched at Newport., and it started out good caught 4, lost 1 in less than an hour… also got a lot more short strikes – all on watermelon spider grub. Then the bite died! At about 11:30 went sight fishing, saw some fish but no takers until the last fish... a 3# 13oz smallie which was caught on a drop shot = new personal best smallie. In hindsight probably should of spent more time sight fishing, but it was still my best day out there so far.

I wouldn't say I am learning WA after all... tried up in Kenmore today and nothing (except a sculpin if that counts). The water temps were about 60/61 but I did not see any beds up there - crazy. I still got to find some better smaller lakes... quad, I'll shoot you a pm the next time I know I am going out.
