Went out on the Lake today (Thursday). Pretty slow. Caught a Blackmouth in the morning (& released it wo/ bringing it in the boat) - shown in the picture, in the water - it was between 12-14". Had another takedown mid-morning, but missed it. Caught the Cutthroat in the afternoon - very beefy, thick fish. Fished yesterday (Wednesday) as well - was a better day. Caught & release a handful of cutts, plus another blackmouth. Battery had died on the camera, so no picks. I won't let that happen again (hopefully!)

Cheers!

Nice job Horace. I'll have to get back to your PM I just received today...sorry about that. I will be out fishing perhaps tomorrow, but I will get back to you as soon as I can (i.e. off the water)...nice job! It looks like the larger fish 20"+are taking advantage of this minnow feast :) That's a beaut man.

Thanks Guys!

Jake - I was using herring.

irishrougue - I've enjoy all your posts - the picture of your father with that cutt is great. It really made me want to get out on the lake & learn this fishery.

crankbait - I wanted to weigh that fatty bad - but my dam electronic scale wasn'y working. I wanted to use the scale again today, but still on the blink (it's a Berkely - so if your thinking of buying a scale,....................)

Cheers!
