Took a buddy out to the boat launch and fished off the docks. We started on the left side by the pads and catch a few perch, blue gill and pumpkin seeds. Millions of little frys were jumping everywhere which was a great sight to see since the big bass were going crazy. It looked like one of those great white specials on the discovery channel. Every few minutes you would see them swirling around and wham!

Walked over to the right side of the dock a found a sturgeon carcass. It was picked off pretty good and no one else was around to see how long it had been there. I don't think it was there more than a day or two. It didn't have any stink to it. The ducks and other birds were picking at it pretty good. The sturgeon was close to four feet long. I wasn't sure if I should call anyone on this? I am surprised but not too surprised to find on in the lake.

Anyways, interesting but relaxing evening on the lake.

are there docks on that lake I haven't seen? I have not spent much time down there. I know where the boat launch is, drove through the parking lot but never got out once I saw it cost money.

Hey gian... I just fished off the docks at the boat launch. You can either fish on the left or right side without getting in anyones way. You can park there for free as long as you are not launching a boat or have a trailer.

Wow, Great report. Thats a monster bluegill. I think someone at WDFW may want to know about that sturgeon. Thats great you took a pic of it though, they sure do get around. When I see a 10 footer swim under my boat, I will crap my pants !
