The girlfriend and I took a lakeside walk by my place near Carillon Point on the evening of Memorial Day. Of course, I brought my fishing pole to get in a few casts. 2 smallmouths fell for my inline spinner. The first was a 10" smallmouth. The second was 2lbs, maybe a little more. Check out the picture. I fished for 20 minutes total and was pleased with the results. It was a great way to end the weekend.

That fish is much bigger than two pounds. I'll try to catch her this weekend, and let you know how big she is.
