I met Mike and Dave around 8:30 a.m. and started catching fish as soon as I got on the water. I was using a green wooly leech with a moderate retrieve.
The weather was warm, 68 degrees with a moderate northeast wind. The water was 60 degrees and clear. Most of the fish were lying around the 12-15 ft level and averaged 10-12 inches, all Tiger Trout. Mike did manage to land one Brook at 16".
We all caught about 20 fish each. No bigger fish were landed. People fishing off of the dock were bringing in several Tigers in the 8-12" range.
Around 2:00 p.m., the wind started to blow harder with a front moving in so we called it a day. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks we can catch some of the larger Tigers in the 16-20" range.
