I went out in my float tube on Echo, Monday morning, 6:00 am. I fished crankbaits, soft plastic grubs, senkos, spinnerbaits etc. I covered all the docks, lillies, etc. I didn't have a single bite, and didn't see a single fish. I am sure they are here, but let me know if anybody has tricks for this lake. (Bigbowkes) if you're out there pony up some ideas.
Sunny morning, nice day etc.

I've been going on and off for the last 2-3 weeks, not one bite. Been trying Ballinger and had some action but come hot weather you can't get a parking spot unless it is early morning or later in the evening due to the high volume of people enjoying the beach. Actually I am shocked of the by the lack of fish because have not seen a lot cormorants as in previous years. Hopefully they are still plenty to become holdovers so it will be worth come fall/winter. Anyways I guess I'll just keep plugging away like you and hope the action catches up.

sorry bud i havent been out in while the tricks i got thats always worked for me is a camo colored flat fish and if you head to the south east side of the lake theres a nice house where the hot tube is out on the deck right by the water. I fish there w that flat fish and knock them dead both bows and LMB. The bass in there are not that big about 12-14 inch range. I am going out there this saturday i am taking the day off from all the house and yard work (honeydew list) to take my float tube out and hopefully have better info for you. I'll email you on friday just in case you wanna go w me.
