I got to the lake at 5:30 am and it was raining pretty good. I started out on the south shore of the lake near the swimming area with no luck. I used a 3 foot leader with Berkley Pink Power Eggs and Blue/Pink Powerbait and cast about 50 feet out. I fished in that spot for about 30 mins with no bites. I moved up to the southeast shore this time using 1 Power Egg, 1 Mike's yellow cheese marshmallow, and pink and blue Powerbait. 1 hour later still not a bite... The last 30 mins I switched over to a mid water BlueFox crankbait which got no results either... I Perhaps a bad day for fishing or just bad technique... I will definitely be checking the lake out again tonight to see if my luck changes. Comments would be appreciated.
