Me and a buddy from work hit Tapps today.Main goal was to show him some more of this great lake and possibly get him over some smallies....and possibly convert him into a Muskyhunter too!! He's primarily a Bass guy..ended up getting a couple of nice Rock Bass..(I never knew there are rock bass in the lake) Fun fighters..got and kept 2. And caught 1 dink smallie.Which he kept.
Funny thing...while fishing for smallies I chose to throw a bucktail. Had a nice 40 inch Tiger follow to the boat but wouldn't commit....passed right in front of my bro..it took like 30 seconds to convert this guy. Asking me for a leader and if his swim bait was big enough or if his 1 oz spinner would work...I AM BRILLIANT !!
We continued to work for smallies or Tigers..I get this..uhm this place looks good for Tigers..My job is done..!!
Around 11 am. got a solid follow from a small Tiger. All the way to the boat figure 8 a couple times, hits at the boat, we land this 26" tiger..CPR'd..Again, My job is done...conversion complete.Thats all it took. Great day on the water!!
****Remember 50 inch limit, Let em' go, so they can grow****

3 days in a row....NICE!!!
Speaking of the 50inch rule,we need to get and keep the word out. Today,I ran into 3 guys that were unaware and thought I was making it up.

Great job again! I guess you will have to have this WI boy show you how to catch smallies next time we go! Of course I will have to do that in between releasing all the muskies you put me on! Great job potentially "snagging" another NW Tiger Pac member.
