Grabbed the boat just down the road and took my son out. Started targeting lmb but after an hour,switched to trout.
Decided not to troll on this trip and just casted the rainbow Kastmaster. Picked up 6 'bows in about 3 hours. The largest was 13 and smallest was 8 inches. Unknown water temp...my best guess would be around 55degrees. Weather was sunny and clear,water was smooth as glass. On a sidenote...saw a few lmb's in the shallows...didn't see beds yet but my guess would be very soon.

All fish were C&R'ed on this trip.

Thanks for the report. I am thinking of trying it soon, I haven't been there in a couple of years. I have caught lots of trout and Kokanee in the past but the Kokes are pretty small. Was there much boat traffic out on the lake?

Not to many,probably 7 boats. I've noticed the kokes are usually smaller too.
