My wife and I took the day off for some fishing in the sun! Arrived at the military dock around 8:30 in the morning, weather was fantastic, water was nice, not too many folks on the lake. My wife tossed out her usual powerbait setup and I decided to try some spinner action due to the recent reports. For 3 hours we tried everything we had and the only thing that seemed to work was a worm and bobber about 5-6 feet down, had a lot of takers but no hook-ups! Then about 11:30 we settled in with some powerbait (orange nibblets with Chartreuse floaters) and we hit the "honeyhole", within about an hour my wife and I pulled in 7 fish, kept 4 nice fat rainbows ranging from 14-20", but had to leave at 1:00.
