Okay so I got out to the lake pretty early this morning around 6 just when the sun was rising and I noticed the fish were jumping and seemed to be feeding hard so I hit the water trolling with a mepps greenish/silver color spinner and right off the bat I landed a very heavy (weight unknown) trout he was just short of 16". I put him back and continued to troll the lake near the Russel Landing and around the island but after that first one I didn't see anymore action so after about 4 hours of nothing I went ahead and packed it in.
Still thought the water seems to be warming up and hopefully pretty soon the Bass will start making more of an appearance in this cold spring. Tight Lines!
