So we got to the lake around 5PM and started trolling out around Russel Landing (Ft. Lewis side). About 30 minutes went by and we started thinking it was going to be another slow trip but then it started getting busy. In about an hour we pulled out 5 trout ranging from 10" to one at 17". We tried a variety of lures and colors but the only thing they seemed interested in was the Mepps, copper and hot pink colors. So I hope this helps all you other anglers out there. Tight Lines!!
