It's been a long time coming but the big hens are starting to stage from the deep water. Saw signs of fresh bedding activity but no fish on them. Surface temp was still in the low 50's until 10:00 A.M. Had a productive morning but had some issues keeping from being blown off the lake in some of the best locations. Remember, big lures, big fish. The two in the pics went for 5-10 and 4-8. All released to get bigger...

FYI, I did see a kid land a nice 2 to 3 pound rainbow off the fishing platform at the launch right when I got underway. Nice fish! Bright red, deep green, and a good 22-24". You can catch some big ones there...
