Went out with the Mrs. Dilbert, and his brother in law this AM. I took the wife to the usual locations for completely selfish reasons. If she did not catch a fish, I would have to either spend less time out there, or hear more about the time I am out there. Ran into Bumper, believe I saw Kenster, and heard that Kevinb was going to be fishing. Average day, some smallies, wife got her first fish of the year and first from the boat! So much weight off of my shoulders now. found some new spots, and will be hopefully improving my game. Lost some gear to the muskie that was playing bass in 10' of water. Sorry about that, but I have seen more muskie in the last two weeks that ever before.

Heya 2000,
Where have you been seein the ski's? I have seen only one in the last 3 weeks. Saw one 2day on the south end of Campers Isle in the low 30's - inches..I'm in the wrong spots at all t he wrong times. Kevinb was going to come out with me but things fell threw at the last moments...he did get out and shore fished at Dike 2 A...I was by myself till I got to the launch, Picked up shore fisherman Brett...We fished the North end of the lake. Shot over to Inlet Isle to check out the incoming water..looks like you can get up the crek about 200 yards or so...We saw one musky and I caught a smallie about a pound and a half...little booger.
Ive got a white 16 5 Alumacraft...wass bombing around. Scouting for tommorrow..Where is a good spot for smallies in the A.M. ? Todd
