one fish at a time...

I wondered if I should go fishing because I couldn’t make up my mind which lake to go to. Then the tip of my new pole broke. I also didn’t feel good. So I wondered what sort of calamity might befall me today. It was overcast and breezy when I got to the lake. I launched and caught my first fish right by the ramp area. Then I went over by where the creek area is, north of the ramp and used a bobber and worm catching one, the smallest. It was windy and showers came down. Then the sun came out. Then it was just windy and I was cold so I crossed over to the south side of the lake by the ramp (west end) trolling my go to lure the salmon roe Z-Ray. After heading east for about 5 minutes I caught a good sized trout that I had to let fight before getting it into the boat. 14" 1,25 lb, I couldn’t get my hand around it to unhook it. I had to just grab the hook and shake. It is the biggest fish this year. So I kept going east until I turned at Camp Lakeview to the north side of the lake. This is where I caught the last 2 and I headed back the west for the ramp so I could go home. I caught these fish in 3 hours, 9am to 12pm. Best catch this year. I forgot to get the temperature of the lake. I think the only calamity was the wind making me cold and the tip of my new pole breaking, otherwise great day catching.
