I decided to take the day off and go fishing at clear lake. The weather couldn't have been better, calm and clear. I launched the boat about 7:00 am and trolled up the north side. The surface temp was 55. The fish finder showed most of the fish down 20-30 ft. so I put a wedding ring on with some weight and went deep. Caught 2 kokes immediately (both 11-12") along the south side. By 9:00 the fish had moved up closer to the surface so I trolled a kastmaster about 10-15 ft deep and started catching rainbows. Caught and released 10 all together. Left at 12:30.
