The sun was shining, the wind wasn't too strong, and the traffic was relatively low, so my girlfriend and I decided to take the kayaks out for some fishing. We threw crankbaits, which worked last weekend, for about an hour with no luck. I figured the clear, blue skys drove the fish deeper so I tied on a pig and jig. About 10 casts later, I landed this fish. It was a real aggressive bite. Fun fish. We left shortly after.
