Went down to the lake today fished a few hours and caught a few sculpins on worms. Then switch to jig caught another sculpin then walked shore casting and hoping for maybe a bass or to. Didn't get a single hit kept on walking and casting got a nice jerk on the rod almost took the rod out of my hand. Missed the fish casted to the same spot two more times and bam slam hooked up with a nice Rainbow about 16or 17 inches long. Nice fight healthy fish only fish of any size today that I caught that was worth anything. Later

That's a cutthroat trout not rainbow...definate orange banding. Nice fish! Good job man!

Yeah I read his report without seeing your comment Kutt and was thinking the same thing. Looks very cuttish.
Nice trout! What part of the lake were you fishing?

That is a beautiful sea run cutthroat, fresh out of the Sound! The "cut throat" marking, the pattern and shape of the spots, the shape of the fish generally, including the head leaves no doubt--CUTTHROAT!!!
