Quite a decent day to be out on the water. Slept in late, got out to Tanwax at about 6:30am. No water temp., air temp. unsure...though it did seem rather warm this morning. Nice change of pace.
Tossed around a couple rooster tails, kastmasters had no bites. After an hour, I dropped in a bobber and nightcrawler. Caught one small triploid about thirteen inches or so and busted my leader loosing another one. Was really slow with nightcrawlers. Tried on the bottom with white powerbait, and powereggs...had one nibble. Hung out for a while with a friend until the dock got crowded. Left around 11:30 with my one and only fish on ice.
Nice morning...will be back, again.
