Here is our belated opening weekend report for Blue Lake. Four of us fished for two days. Saturday was sunny and warm, Sunday cloudy but pleasant. We were fishing in 16 to 20 feet of water on the W side of the lake, roughly even with the big rock on the SE end of the lake. Water temp was 50 degrees. We caught limits each day in about two hours using marshmallows, either alone or with corn, and powerbait. The best fishing was with marshmallows. (Kind of like fishing in the 60's and 70's) The picture is my wife and sister in law with the catch.
