4/30/2008 10:50:00 PMThanks for your report. I like to fish at American lake, close to home. In my opinion, due to the size of the lake, it might take warmer weather to warm it up to make the fish more active.

Took a friend with me today to get another hook in the water. And still no luck. He did pull a tiny only out by the VA but we shook it off at the boat. That was within the first 5 min and no bites after that. Just enough to keep you out there. He was using a new set of pop gear with a double hook wedding ring all yellow. we forgot the worms so stuck to power bait today. The wind was starting to pick up, but the rain held off all day it was only about 50 degrees out so that may have something to do with it. see ya out there next week.
