Are you at Liar's cove?? Did you fish from the dock at all? I am wondering if the milfoil has gone out of control yet at the dock? There was talk about having it taken out. probably the water isn't warm enough yet.

LOL..they've been using this same picture for like 10 years! That's cool though, about 2 years ago I got on this site to check out the fishing in Conconully and I came across the link to Liars Cove. It looked awesome so my WHOLE family went over there for father's day weekend and we all caught fish and had a blast!

Same canned fishing reports by the resort owners that should be banned. Conconully is a decent lake, but the fishing isn't HOT every day of the year. Give me a break! Fishing checks from the WDFW said the fishing was below average for size and catch rate for the opening weekend. 10-12 inch yearlings!.....I can't wait to catch those lunkers!.....:)

No reason to ban a resort's reports. If the resort is stretching the truth it won't be long before other reports will balance them out. I've seen enough reports over the years from people not staying at the resort to know the fishing can be very good there. And yes, they are sponsors on this site. Arnie and Nita are nice folk, they run a great resort and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Liar's Cove as a place to visit and fish. Definately one of the prettiest areas in the state to visit.
