Arrived at Fishtrap @ 7 am. Great day caught a 18inch rainbow almost immediately. Loved the bullheads. ( I turned around and the bobber was gone!) One major major major complaint about this lake. 80 % of this lake is Public Land.... BLM. However there is one dill hole that seems to think it alright to charge 7 $ plus tax just to cross his yard and get the public land. What an outrage is there anyway WDFW can make public access to the public lakes. Paying this jerk has made me go broke and I don't want to come here anymore. Anyone got any suggestions. Shore fishing is hard because I cant get to public lands without paying almost 8$ A steep price just to walk across someones land.
