We went to Ohop about at Dawn only five trailers in the lot when we got there. We fished trolling all kinds of things ,all the regular stuff ,(we fish here a lot ) and the fish were picky had to be trout colored or a red only rooster tail.
when we stopped at the far end we used a worm and a bobber 3-5 feet down in 15' -17 ' of water 5-7 feet down all over the lake worked best, most of the fish on radar were small compared to last years opening day. We C&R'd most of the fish caught on the lures except the suicide ones.
Daughter caught a trip 15" all the rest were under 12". the three of use only took 9 home .(the suicide ones)and of course the big trip. Water was clam most of the day and no skiers freezing there buns today. Don't know what the water temp was (cold,) but air temp reached 62 by 2:00. When we left the lot was full people trying to get in & out . crazy I tell you! Good fishin all and all!
