Spent Oct 16th hunting ducks at the North End of Potholes Reservoir near the Job Corps Dike. In between birds, and the previous day, my partner Russell and I got in a bit of bass fishing. The fishing was good. Tossing rattletrap type lures or light jigs with West Coast Custom Tackle 3 inch grubs, we caught over 50 bass, as well as a couple of nice crappie and bluegill up to a pound in size.

The bass weren't huge - but they were fat and healthy. All in all - a very fun cast and blast weekend - and the duck hunting was pretty good on Saturday too!
