Me and a couple buddies fished Lacamas lake today, We started at the Everett street bridge but there was some rookies fishing in our honey hole, so we re-located to the other side of the lake were the creek enters. Right about half a mile before the creek dumps into the lake it widens and gets reel deep and about 50 feet across and that is were we fished. My buddy Dylan had the most luck today hooking 4 brown trout and bringing one onto shore. The rest either got off at the bank or right after being hooked. He was using a fire tiger size 1 bluefox vibrax. I had a couple hits but nothing to show for it. Dylan also caught one brown on a orange/black spotted spoon. We parked right next to the golf course and walked about a miles on the lacamas heritage trail to get to our spot. We fished right by a bridge in case anybody wants to know.
The biggest fish was about 14" and the smallest being 12". The bass are still dormant because of the freak weather we have been having, so the only thing biting is the trout. WDFW stocked 7000 browns on the 14th so the fish are here you just have to find them.
