I went in to these lakes last year and it was a blast. There were tons of fish in the lake. My father and I hiked and camped overnight. The first day, despite being really tired I gave it a try and caught about 12 fish in an hour. There were lots of people there which I was a little surprised at. The next day my dad and I hit the lake hard just circling around the lake starting at the campsites. There was not much action by the camp sites, but everywhere else was hot. We were almost getting a fish every cast. I was using a gray and red rooster tail and my dad was using a similar setup. All of them were pretty small 8-10" but we managed to catch a few 11-12" fish for dinner. Towards the end of the day I hooked a really nice 13" trout by plunking salmon eggs on the bottom. There are too many fish in this lake, some of them have big heads and small bodies. It needs to be fished a lot more and like I said make sure to travel around the lake to the left, you will be well rewarded for your efforts.
