Sunday was overcast and windy, but for the addict it doesn't matter. Water temp was still down (est. 40 F) and there was little sign of insect activity. Only spotted a few chironomid casings all day, and one adult that landed on my glasses. No rises visible, and no activity noted in the shallows. Stuck with the black chironomid and landed a bow in the 24" range. Two other smaller bows followed, but none of them had the "fight" yet, no doubt due to the water temperature. Give it a few weeks.
