Water temp 49.5-51 degrees, that's more like it!! Caught four lost one 2.6-4.5lbs, all fish were alongside laydowns, NOT pilings, or up under docks....seriously, the only fish I caught off docks I had skipped my bait way up under them!! The bite seemed best in boat launch cove and North of there about 50yds.....and directly across the lake from the round apartment building thingy on the West side.....go due East, then work your way North.... bite dropped off quick at the North end!

Magic depth seemed to be 8ft?? Go get em'!!!

good job with the catches. today was my first time out there. launch cove is the cove to the right of the launch right? anyways its a pretty nice lake i manage to catch only one today 4lb 13oz about 100 yards north of the launch i that little cove next to the road, look like the lilly pads are starting to go so i threw a spinner bait and got a hit on the first cast. did you catch all of yours on jigs? anyways good job slayin them bass, thanks again for some helpful tips.

oh by the way how is the fishing south of the lake looks like there is a lot of stumps and broken down docks?

Hey hey, yes I caught all mine on jigs! Launch cove IS right of the launch..... The South end of the lake grows pretty weedy and grassy in the summer, good place for a topwater bait, or working the grass edges with a Texas rigged worm. The West shoreline South of the launch is a bit shallow, but should start producing some spinnerbait action soon?!

Hope you had fun, I went back today as well!! Boy was it warm:)
