Smallmouth Bass

Water is still cold 45-47 and fish are still deep. Conditions were almost perfect with rain and wind + cloud cover. Smallie was 4lbs 9oz. I didn't realize how close the fish and I were to the camera but none the less it was still a chuck. Caught other keepers size but nothing special.

Id normally tell but I got to keep this one to myself cause to many people I know brows this board. On the other hand its all location so I probably could have caught them on anything as long as I was where I was. I also went out of my way to move the boat before i took pics so if you can tell what part of the lake I'm at that's not where I was actually fishing :)

Fish were in 30+ feet (i forgot that). Tomorrow (sat the 5th) is going to be the best day of the month to fish so if you can...get outside!

Why do you believe that tomorrow will be the best day? For all fishing or just Bass? I have to work. Oh well that is how I can fish.

Based on the lunar phase. So most likely for all fish.

New moon + high noon sun and clouds!!! Basically the odds are in your favor so if you could pick one day out of the moth tomorrow would be a great one to pick.

Danielt,
I've never been able to catch a bass on American Lake, although I've caught everything else. Could you send me an e-mail at fwconquest7@hotmail.com with any tips? I practice catch and release so I'll make sure to put him back after I catch him.
