Went out today to kill some time down at Lake Washington. Didn't expect to catch anything. Started out working plastics over by Husky Stadium. Worked the shore around in the cut and all off a sudden wham. Got a nice little 13 inch very fat small mouth. After a quick pic he was successfully released. I went down a little further down the cut and fished for about a half before i got my second real nice hit, but he shook his head right at the dock. Great day and a fun time.

Nice Job! What type of plastic bait did you use? Did you fish pretty slow? What area in cut? Also, did you fish close to the cement walls in the cut or out in the middle?

I was using 4 inch green Gary yamamoto's worms. The first one I got was right were the cement started along the wall. I was working The plastics real close along the wall and i was retrieving in a slow then fast jerking pattern. it was the end opposite of were the husky boat house starts. Just slowly worked along the shore. Good luck
