22 incher is a monster! Great going guys! We were out this afternoon -- WINDY but we gave it a go. You had much better luck than us though... I'm still stunned you guys are in such warm water -- we saw 43 as the absolute WARMEST, fishing from champagne point all the way down to Yarrow/Hunts.

irishrogue: Wasn't it blustery out there? Man we were taking some good 3-4 footers toward 1PM. We marked 45.4F all day. It could be that our temp. sensors (one or the other) are a little off either way...no big deal. How'd you guys do? We shoulda had that 22"...just a pig of a fish...Austin saw it and then it spit the hook right in front of us...the 18" kind of "jumped the hook"...we had him on for about 20 seconds. Still, though, Austin went home with a nice bag of fillets, and we had a great time. That water was just chopped the heck up towards 2pm...that's when we called it a day.

I tried the Cedar river mouth again from about 3:30- 5:30 Sunday afternoon. The south wind made it tough to control the boat and on top of that I was having problems with my improvised ez steer. Tried a frog pattern needlefish and an apex trout killer with no luck. Saw what looked to be a huge baitball on the bottom at 80 feet with the sonar and tons of diving birds on the water so the big fish should be eating well. God bless, Ken

We didn't *start* fishing until 1 PM, so we were in the thick of the weather... The Arima (plus, the kicker autopilot) handles the chop remarkably well, so while it was lumpy, we were able to fish thru it relaxed. We didn't touch a fish, ran our collection of spoons/Apexes and never found willing biters. Finder looked encouraging around Juanita Bay, but nothing
