tried battleground yesterday for some wonderful Stocked trout (yuk)

the usually powerbait off the bottom was not producing like usual with only a couple nibbles but no fish.

got bored and started trolling a red wedding ring and after one loop around the lake got my first hit while crossing the middle of the lake and turned out to be a small stocker trout about 12 inches and the funny thing was it have a broken off hook inside its mouth and about 12 inches of like hanging out, and i don't know how he could have broken even 2lb test.

overall a good sunny day on the lake.

p.s non of the cutts they put in are biting along with the holdover cuts that SHOULD be in there.
