My wife and I fished Caliche Lake from 1030 to about 1400 and caught our limits of 10 to 12 inch rainbows. The weather was sunny and about 60. There was no wind to speak of so my beer stayed upright, unlike some tragic reports from opening day! I was using Pautzke's yellow corn with a white marshmallow, and my wife was using chartreuse power bait. The only downer to this trip was all the garbage left behind by other fishermen. I filled a garbage bag just around the immediate area I was fishing.

Great to hear you had a good day, and especially "Thanks" for your clean up effort.. A few careless slobs can really create a mess. If you Pack it in, Pack it out !! Special Kudos to those that go the extra measure and pick up the other A- - H- - - - s trash they left behind.

glad to hear you got out on the lake sounded like it was fun. Its been awhile since i been out fishing my honey do list has been keeping me busy since spring is right around the corner. I think that it is soo amazing how much trash "fishermen" leave behind!! On the snohomish river under the 522 bridge i would always pick up trash left behind. I just think that people who say they love the sport that much should never leave their trash!! Thanks again your a true sportsmen!!
