We camped at Buffalo, rose early, cooked our Brookies for breakfast, and hopped of to Summit.
WOW, what a day. 40-50 fish each. Rainbows and Brookies. Man, they must grow fast. These fish were all 1-2 inches larger than a couple weeks ago. maybe they were there all the time, but i caught a lot last time too and they were all smaller. All were caught on one of 4-5 patterns. Not everything worked. In spite of the number we caught, they would not bite everything! Green Buggers, hares ear (tan), Pheasant tail (darker brown), and Something like a 6-pack, but with a red back added (small red chenille tied down on the back), I call it a Chartreuse Mini Bus, also similar to a Jolly Green Giant.
The Rainbows were a bit larger than the Brookies. Tomorrow we're off to Crawfish Lake.
