I went out this afternoon to experiment with a herring at 100'. I was a mile North of I-90 bridge in 180' - 125' of water. I saw fish sign on the depth finder at 100'-160'. I have frequently seen fish at the bottom and below 100' in this area so I decided to troll a herring at 100' for a couple hours. I had no luck. Next time I'll try something else. I'm very curious as to what is down that deep besides maybe pikeminnows.

I have "seen" those fish as well and have been told they are most likely Carp.
