Yes Virginia, there is a Wall Lake in Lincoln County, and it looks like the Topo maps in WashingtonLakes.com.

After a good deal of searching, and wondering, and ...........well just plain being confused, I got on the latest upgrade of Google maps and told it to "fly me to Wall Lake, Washington.

Guess what showed up in Lincoln County, 47 degrees, 33 min, 29.47 seconds North and 118 degrees, 27 minutes, 3.33 seconds West. You won the gold medal if you said Wall lake. There is even a road to the West end. Now, is it private? Does it have fish in it? Who knows, but this is one lake that is no longer lost.

If anyone fishes it now, let us all know what in the worlds is going on. I have a hunch that someones secret lake has just been exposed. HEHEHEHE

We go in that area every summer because my family lives near there. I have never fished Wall lake, I believe there is more than one named "Wall" in the area as well, Thanks for the GPS..

I agree Jake, there are other Lincoln County lakes named Wall. If you go to the lake reports in the past, then go to Wall, you will see the results of research I did a few years ago. But this one actually matches the TOPO map done by the State F & W in 1960, and posted on WL.com.

If you get into the area, let us know what is up with this lake.

Thanks,
Steve

I used to fish a Wall Lake out south of Ritzville close to Benge (wide spot in road with grain elevators). I grew up in Ritzville and it was mostly the locals that knew about this small lake. Back in the early ninety's it was stocked with nice lahotten cutthrout trout but several years of drought and low water levels made the high alkali lake pretty stagnant . The few times I fished it in the late ninety's I didn't have much luck and haven't been back since. I am very curious as to what shape the lake is in now. The lake is on private property but the land owner leaves the gate unlocked except during fire season. During early spring muddy conditions you will need a good 4X4 to access this lake (not some grocery getter SUV). I know of several people who have gotten stuck out there and you probably won't be able to call roadside assistance from your cell as you will not get a signal.
