I got a ride to my favorite pier on lake Washington today to try out some gear i got for Christmas, and for my last fishing of the year. Didn't really expect to catch anything. I was there for about, for the first part i just threw the normal perch set up out there and let it sit. Didn't get anything. Then for the last part, i was just throwing out all my new lures and jigs for fun, and still didn't get anything.
This year was the first year i fished on my own in freshwater, without my dad taking me and knowing where to fish and all that. I learned a lot and cant wait till spring for the trout, and later for the perch and everything else.
