Just for kicks I thought I'd give the public dock by Cambell's a shot, since it had been good to me in the summer. Looking down from the upper part I got a good view of a massive school of 'bows. Started out using a bobber and steelhead jig with salmon eggs, and that got a couple fish. But I've never been one for still fishing, so I put on a red Rooster Tail and had even better luck. I'd let it sink all the way to the bottom and slowly reel it back in. All the fish were about a foot long or bigger and in excellent health. If I had a way to get them home I would have been more then happy to eat them, but as it were I let them go. After a while my hands got too cold to keep fishing (baitcasting reels are not a good idea in thick glove weather) so I headed home.

Tomorrow I'm going to head up there again with a shovel and my spinning rod and a Swedish Pimple before it snows again. Hopefully they fish will drop by again too. ;-)
