I'm home for the holidays and was able to make it out to Washington for a couple hours this evening. I've been reading all of Rutt's tips and they really helped me out. Thanks ;) The fishing was pretty decent. I landed 2 fish around 16 inches and lost another. I was fishing around Mercer Island in about 50 feet of water with a diving plane and pop gear. The trout seemed to love the worm and wedding ring setup so I just stuck with that the whole time. Here's a couple pictures of the cutts that I caught. Nothing like the one I landed on lake Sammamish, but I think i did alright for just starting to learn the lake.
