The third shake-down cruise for my boat. Finally this time I had no boat troubles - the motor purred like a kitten. My son James and I spent an hour fishing the north side of the 520 bridge from 11:30 to 12:30. It was a fruitful, if short, trip. We hit a nice 19" cutthroat off the downrigger at 11:45am on a frog green spoon, 35 feet deep. Troll speed was 1 1/4 mph. A half hour later we hit a nice 14" rainbow caught on the surface rig using a green/chrome spoon. Released this fish for another day. Weather was pleasant, 50s, light breeze. Wish we could have been out longer but Little League calls!
