Drove to Rufus Woods to catch some trout for dinner. I picked up some new hooks, weights and bait in Electric City because I forgot my tackle box. Who leaves their tackle box at home when departing for a FISHING trip for cripes sake. Got to the river at Noon, rigged and fishing by 5 after. I caught two fish in two casts and was done by 12:15. Apparently there was a sturgeon that got caught in one of the net pens and tore it up trying to get free. All those trout are now looking for an easy meal right by the second set of net pens. Next time I am bringing lures so I can pick through the "small" trout to get some big'uns.
