It's great to be able and fish, no matter the weather. You'll do better next time.

yea joe, i put in a report on my 1st trip. my girl's dad and buddy were busting keeper after keeper, and i couldnt keep them on. i killed the smallmouths though. we were drifting from the dam tailrace to 1 mile below the I-84 bridge, using those handmade double whammy's (red beads, gold blade). the 2nd trip it was 15 degrees out and i got into it with some steelheaders who thought we were crazy drift fishing for "steelhead".HA! i set them straight real quick!!! we caught 2 dinks, and decided to go up above the dam in the wallula area where that state record was caught, and i sat and watched my future father-in-law get drunker than a skunk, becasue the fish were not cooperating! im trying to plan a trip for the 17th-19th (use a vacation day), and either hit potholes (the word is the bite finally is happening), below mcnary or head to banks and try the great fishery up there. im thinking where there isnt snow, ill be!
